David Caceres leads his own swing band consisting of
vocals, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, piano, bass and drums. The
David Caceres Swing Band plays the finest in Big Band,
Swing, Jazz and Motown. David is the grandson of Emilio Caceres
who led a swing orchestra in the 40s and 50s and the great
nephew of Ernie Caceres who played saxophone and clarinet with
the Glen Miller, Benny Goodman and Woody Herman big bands. David
himself cultivated his own talents (vocals, saxophone) at
Boston's prestigious Berklee College of Music.
Jazz Revisited specializes in New Orleans jazz and Dixieland music. They also play most of the usual jazz standards and other tunes that might come under the headings ‘dinner jazz' and ‘quiet romantic music' (and even a few rock and pop tunes). The usual instrumentation for Jazz Revisited is soprano sax, guitar, and string bass. Sometimes, instead of saxophone, if the client wants a very authentic New Orleans sound, a clarinet player is substituted. Also, for a more authentic New Orleans sound, banjo can be substituted for the guitar.
The Warren Sneed Trio has been a mainstay at Brennan's Restaurant for several years. They play a variety of jazz styles from New Orleans to contemporary. The versatility of this trio would be an asset to your function.
